The General Secretariat is structured along the Romanian, Hungarian and German lines of study, with separate staff in offices and services that operate according to specific regulations, being directly subordinated to the rector from an organisational point of view, and to the relevant vice-rector from an operational point of view.
It carries out the execution of the strategic decisions of the Senate, the Administrative Council in accordance with the legal regulations in force.
It liaises on educational matters with equivalent structures in MENCS, ARACIS, CNFIS, CNCSIS, INS, according to the directives of the University management.
It coordinates and oversees the activity of the faculties' secretariats in handling the enrolment of undergraduate, master's, doctoral, postgraduate and postdoctoral students.
It acts as an interface between the university and the vice-rectorates, faculties, administrative services, on the one hand, and teaching staff, students, employees, on the other hand, in order to reinforce the reputation of the university.
