Faculty of Theatre and Film

The Faculty of Theatre and Film has a didactic mission but also a research and artistic creation mission, established for each of the artistic domains it offers: Theatre and Performing Arts and Cinematography and Media The main mission of the faculty is to form top professionals trained to the highest level in the performing arts and film, able to work in an increasingly dynamic and globalized cultural context, both in subsidized cultural institutions, both national and international, and in independent companies. The Faculty aims at forming an imaginative and creative thinking, development of performing skills, capacity of using classical media techniques, but also experimental and alternative ones, in order to achieve innovative artistic products. 

Convinced of the importance of initial training, the departments of Theatre - Romanian line of study, Theatre - Hungarian line of study and Cinematography and Media - Romanian and Hungarian, the faculty offers programmes related to the fields of Theatre and Performing Arts and Cinematography and Media at all levels of higher education: undergraduate, master's and doctoral degree.
