Tutoring is a system and a programme meant to offer support and counselling to students in order to facilitate their integration in the higher education, offering advice in their choosing the appropriate didactic, cultural and social options that are specific for the student life and to encourage the sharing of student knowledge and skills, improving academic achievement. Remuneration
16. The tutorial activity is remunerated on an hourly payment system calculated at the rate of an university assistant position, in a number of minimum 56 and maximum 84 hours per year (or 2, respectively maximum 3 hours per week).
Payment is made from the extra-budgetary resources of the faculties.
17. The dean’s offices may encourage the additional compensation of tutors, teachers, from the annual prize fund available under the laws and regulations of the university. The tutors, who are full time PhD students and masterate students in the last year of study can be paid through additional scholarships granted by the dean’s offices of faculties.
18. Tutors may be paid indirectly, by Dean's decision, depending on the budgetary possibilities of the faculty, through the payment of expenses (information, documentation, integration in the relevant scientific environment, travel, etc.) occasioned by the specific programmes required in the process of preparation and research.
