ASPR Projects (Association of Psychology Students in Romania)
ASPR (Association of Psychology Students in Romania) is meant to represent the interests of students from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences.
With a history of over 18 years, ASPR has contributed to the professional and personal development of thousands of students. ASPR is the first association of Psychology students in Romania and one of the longest-living NGOs in Cluj-Napoca. The ASPR values are Accountability, Proactivity and Collaboration. ASPR is part of several structures: Cognosis (Federation of the Associations of Psychology Students in Romania), ANOSR (National Alliance of Student Organizations in Romania), ESU (European Students Union), EFPSA (European Federation of Psychology Students Associations) and COS (Student Organizations Consortium of Cluj-Napoca) .

The fifth edition of the Psychology and Educational Sciences Faculty Days
Monday, April 11th, 2011, starts the fifth edition of the Psychology and Educational Sciences Faculty Days. This event is organized by the Association of Psychology Students in Romania and the Council of Student Representatives. The opening will take place between 12:00 and 14:00 in the Margineanu auditorium of the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences str. Sindicatelor, nr. 7.
During the week of April 11th - 17th students can participate in scientific events such as scientific cinematography, games night, workshop sessions, traings, lectures, dance and photography courses, presentations and discussion sessions held by academics of the Faculty.
The end of the week is reserved for sports activities that will involve both teachers and students. Therefore football volleyball and basketball championships will be organized. All these activities are open to the public, so anyone wishing to participate will have the opportunity, regardless of their being part of the academic environment or not.
Smile Factory Project
It is an external ASPR project which aims to facilitate the creation of an environment that is supportive and optimal for the cognitive, motor and emotional development of the children in hospital environment and their interaction with other children, carers and health professionals. Being an external project, the Smile Factory team involves volunteers from the cultural environment of Cluj coming from several faculties. Last year this project benefited 630 children. This year, approximately 730 hospitalized children will be direct beneficiaries of the Smile Factory. As for the indirect beneficiaries, their number will mount to 1500 in this edition of the project.
The activities proposed by the organizing team are equally important both for members and for beneficiaries. Thus, the activities centred on the Smiles Factory team members are: "Emotional Intelligence" training and also "Face painting" and "Animal-assisted therapy and Robotics" workshops. The category of activities focused on children in hospitals comprises activities devised for cognitive development, memory development, as well as those targeting emotional development.
International Conference of Psychology Students (CISP)
It is a traditional ASPR project which brings together students sharing an interest in Psychology from all over Europe. During this event there will be scientific communication sessions for students, workshops and lectures delivered by renowned professors. This event will take place on May 5th-8th in Cluj-Napoca. Teambuilding NGO.
It is a project that aims to train the members and coordinators of the HR departments of the student organizations in Cluj-Napoca in order to be able to organize very good team building activities. The project will take place on April 8th-10th in Arcalia, Bistrita-Nasaud county.
