BBU provides the local community with spaces for leisure activities: Botanical Garden, the sporting facilities of the University Sports Park "Prof. PhD, I. Hatieganu", Astronomical Observatory, Arcalia Centre, Belis Centre.

To these was added the Universitas Swimming Complex opened in the precincts of the University Sports Park "Prof. PhD. I. Hatieganu" on February 1, 2010.
