The Babes-Bolyai University encourages and supports the cultural and sporting life, offering a varied range of leisure activities through which students and the local community can manifest their skills and interests in an organized and pleasant environment.
Originally conceived as mere collections with academic teaching and research purposes, the 6 museums of the University currently target the wide public with a view to education, information and documentation in areas of local history, zoology, botany, geology, environmental protection and palaeontology of Transylvania and Europe.
Aimed at participating in the education, research and specialized training process, and at achieving the knowledge of the values of national and universal culture and science, the Central University Library in Cluj and its subsidiaries is an important tool for information and documentation in multiple fields of knowledge, accessible to students, teachers and researchers.
