The Department for Teacher Training

The Department for Teacher Training of the Babes-Bolyai University is an academic structure with a long traditionin providing initial and continuing education for the didactic staff, being the only academic structure authorized to provide psycho-pedagogical training programmes for the teaching profession.
Reflecting the multicultural profile of the Babes-Bolyai University, DTT provides educational services in Romanian, Hungarian, German, English and French.

NOTICE FOR THE 1st YEAR STUDENTS

Under the current legislation, practising the teaching profession is conditioned by the completion of a psycho-pedagogical studies programme - Level I (educational psychology, pedagogy, teaching speciality, teaching practice, etc.).
The Department for Teacher Training (DTT) of the Babes-Bolyai University provides the possibility of achieving credentials for the teaching profession through the completion of this study programme.
         

NOTICE FOR THE MASTERS STUDENTS

Under the current legislation, practising the teaching profession for the secondary, post secondary and academic education is conditioned by the completion of the psycho-pedagogical studies - Level II (comprehensiveness)
The Department for Teacher Training (DTT) of the Babes-Bolyai University provides students with the opportunity to complete this programme, which grants the graduates of academic studies the right to apply for teaching positions in the secondary, post-secondary and academic education, provided they meet two requirements:

• accumulating a minimum of 60 transferable credits of the psycho-pedagogical study programme
• completion of a masters programme in the field of the diploma paper.
