The website is the main source of information on the University for current students and employees, prospective students, employees and visitors, and for those who evaluate and rank institutions of higher education. Reflecting the multicultural character of UBB, the main site of the University is conducted in four languages (Romanian, Hungarian, German and English) to the extent of available resources. This site has been created and maintained by the Communications Centre
The main page contains links to the main sections of the site and also quick links to pages inside. In order to promote all the activities of the University, quick links are changed periodically. The nine main sections of the UBB website are as follows:
The Section About UBB contains general information about the University: mission, organization, strategies, regulations and news. |
The Section Admission is intended for young people of all ages who wish to study at the Babeş-Bolyai University. |
The Section Structure contains links to the website pages of faculties and other units within the UBB. |
The Section Academic Programmes features study programmes and courses offered by the University. |
The Section Research contains the site of the Department of Research and Programmes Management under the Council of Scientific Research and the prorectorate responsible for Research. |
The Section Students provides useful information to current UBB students. |
The Section International Relations is the site of the Centre for International Cooperation under the prorectorate responsible for Internationalisation. |
The Section International Students is meant to attract foreign students at UBB. |
The Section Community (comunitate.ubbcluj.ro), created in 2009, is mainly designated for parties outside the university (companies, alumni etc.) and promotes services offered by UBB. |
Comments and suggestions regarding the website of UBB are welcome, even if not all of them will be put into practice! For the sections News, UBB Announcement, UBB Profile, Books Online and Pages below, we call on all UBB members to contribute with pages and documents with rich and interesting contents.
The Section News is carried out in collaboration with the UBB Media Office and is intended mainly for external communication. All the information that the press office forwards to journalists are posted on this site also, including audio-visual materials produced by the Department of Journalism, the Faculty of Theatre and Television and Media Centre. |
